Jack Cyngler

Principal

Admitted to practice in 1983, Jack is the Principal of the firm and has spent most of his career practicing in Commercial and Business Law, Property Law, Wills, Probate and Estate Planning, Litigation and Debt Recovery.

He established the firm Cyngler & Co in 1987 and later merged with Kaye Levy & Co in 2004.

Jack is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Tenancy Law (Commercial & Retail Leases). He is one of only a handful of Lawyers in Victoria who have been Accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria.

He is a Member of the Law Institute of Victoria and serves as a Committee Member of their Leases Committee. The Leases Committee is made up of a small number of specialist practitioners in the field of Tenancy Law who meet to discuss new legislation and make submissions to Government.

He is also a member of the Property Law Specialist Group, the Law Council of Australia, the Southern Solicitors Group and the international body STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners).

Ian Richard Levy

Consultant

Admitted to practice in 1971, Ian has over 30 years experience and knowledge in Commercial & Business Law, Litigation & Debt Recovery, Property Law, Wills Probate & Estate Planning.

He established the firm Kaye Levy & Co in 1977 with his then partner Irvin Kaye. Ian merged his firm with Jack in 2004 to become Cyngler Kaye Levy Lawyers.

He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Southern Solicitors Group.

Natasha Stewart

Solicitior

Natasha completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in 2007 and has recently joined the firm as a junior Solicitor.

She gained experience in Litigation & Debt Collection in her previous position and continues to build on her knowledge base. She assists our senior Solicitors in all Litigation and Commercial/Business Law matters.

Natasha has energy and a can do attitude that puts clients at ease knowing their matter will be dealt with promptly and professionally.

Lynne Schmidt

Conveyancing & Probate Clerk

Lynne is an experienced Conveyancing and Probate Clerk with over 20 years experience in all aspects of residential and commercial property sales and purchases, mortgages and leases, as well as Wills and Probate applications and distributions.

She has had significant experience in the relocation of executives interstate and is capable of handling the special conveyancing needs of this very specific group of people.

Lynne brings a mix of efficiency and accuracy with a people focused empathy to ensure tasks are managed with professionalism, confidence and confidentiality.

Michelle Kovacic

Leasing & Conveyancing Clerk

Michelle is an experienced Leasing and Conveyancing Clerk with over 20 years experience in all aspects of Commercial and Retail Leases, Residential and Commercial property sales and purchases, Mortgages, as well as Wills.

She has had significant experience in leases for shopping centres and the conveyancing of subdivisions for land developers.

Michelle is a calm, mature and confident Clerk who has immense knowledge to ensure your matter is conducted and concluded smoothly.

Karyn Cyngler

Law Clerk, Practice Manager

Karyn manages our Administrative pision, IT Systems and Accounts Department. She has been actively involved in the practice for over 20 years. She has a degree in Commerce and Administration.

She is also an experienced conveyancing & probate clerk with over 20 years experience and provides training and mentoring to our junior members of staff.

Karyn is able to assist clients who have queries regarding invoices or administrative matters. She is the primary point of contact for our suppliers.

Felicia - Ni Jing

Secretary/Receptionist

Felicia is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.

She has a Bachelor of Arts - English Education. Over the past 10 years she has worked as an English/Mandarin interpretation & translator for a large Chinese manufacturing company. She worked part time as the liaison office at an English Language school in China liaising between teachers and parents and assisting students with extra English tuition. She also conducted book translations for the Dalian Science & Technology University.

Felicia is your first contact at reception, always willing to help. She is a vibrant member of staff whose friendly manner ensures all clients are welcomed into the firm.
